Lee Yee
CEO and Co-founder
Lee Yee is an accomplished business leader with over thirty years of international experience in the telecoms, media, and technology industry leading high-profile digital transformation programs of telecom operators around the world. Most recently, he served as senior vice president of AMAX Engineering, a Foxconn affiliate company focused on OEM supply chain manufacturing of cloud, and AI computing, storage infrastructure, and manufacturing execution systems. At Huawei Technologies, he held world-wide sr. management positions in marketing, product development, and consulting where he led its 4X global revenue growth in its software business – and was honored with 1 of 10 Chairman Gold Medal awards. Previously, he was a Regional Director and Head of Marketing at Amdocs. Lee holds a B.S. degree in Communications from San Jose State University and an MBA from Peking University.
Eason Chen
Chief Engineer and Co-founder
Eason is charging product development and engineering of the Zerras product portfolio and brings over 20 years of experience in designing and manufacturing world-class consumer products, and enterprise level solutions. Most recently, he designed and developed optical drive and network attached storage products for the OEM market. Previously, he served as the President of Owedo Tech, where he pioneered streaming media devices and servers in mobile vehicles. Eason holds 2 patents related to optical drive technologies.
George Tsai
Board Advisor R&D Operations
With over 30 years of experience leading research, product design and development, operations, quality, and manufacturing engineering of medical device companies, Mr. George Tsai brings an innovative spin to the storage computing industry through his expertise in high precision electro-mechanical systems, regulatory economics, and cost-reduction performance management. Mr. Tsai was the Vice President of R&D and Operations for Equinox Ophthalmic, developing a novel treatment for glaucoma. As the Director of R&D for Visiogen, he led full programs encompassing multiple projects from conception to development to manufacturing, product transfer, and commercialization. He has had three successful venture exits which include the acquisition of Visiogen by Abbott, Percusurge acquired by Medtronic, and Menlo Care acquired by Johnson & Johnson. His devices are used in cardiology, ophthalmology, arthroscopic surgery, protective cooling, AAA stents and drug delivery. He is now applying his medical device expertise to the IT storage industry to bring sustainability to long-term data preservation. Mr. Tsai has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from U.C Berkeley and a MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor.
Anil Uberoi
Board Advisor – Strategy and Business Development
A veteran of Silicon Valley, Anil is an accomplished executive of business and technology companies for over 40 years - from Fortune 500 companies to startups. Anil was the co-founder and CEO of Kitenga, an innovative big data analytics company which was acquired by Dell Technologies. At LucidWorks, Anil was CMO and part of the founding management team which developed enterprise AI search technology and global developer networks. He led marketing and business development at XACCT Technologies, an innovative real-time data capture and correlation platform for telecom networks, which was acquired by Amdocs. Early accomplishments at Sun Microsystems and National Semiconductor in senior marketing and product management roles contributed to the successful commercialization of networking and storage products that shaped the IT landscape today. He is now serving on company boards and is applying his expertise to nurture innovative startups. Mr. Uberoi has a bachelor’s degree in engineering from National Institute of Technology, India and an MBA from Santa Clara University.
